Mr. Obed Dihis’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of others in ensuring progress, prosperity, and peace has earned him this prestigious award amongst the several awards he has received.
Mr. Obed Dihis is an accountant and a supply chain management specialist with over 13 years of experience. He was born to the family of the Late Mama Tabitha and the Late Baba Dakar Jonathan Dihis in Bidol, Ampang West District, Mangu LGA, Plateau State.
On receiving the award, Mr. Dihis who was ably represented, Kelvin Dapul, dedicated the award to God almighty and thanked Sense Connect Africa for finding him worthy of this award. He said the award will spur him to continue to do more in peacebuilding. He donated handsomely by launching a book titled: The Known Gun Men written by Manji Difur.
Mr. Dihis attended a lot of local and international trainings and workshops organized by The Crown Agent, Philips Consulting Learning Academy, Stan Services, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Centre for Management Development United States Agency for International Development (USAID) AND John Hopkins School of Public Health and the Global Fund.

He is currently the Chairman of the Mwaghavul Development Association, Garki and Environs, FCT. He was the Chairman, Ampang West Development Association, Federal Capital Territory and Environs Chapter, Abuja, Nigeria; Secretary General, Mwaghavul Development Association, Federal Capital Territory and Environs Chapter; Member of National Program on Immunization (NPI) Task Force Committee on the Preparation of Year 2004 Budget; Deputy Speaker, Student Union Representative Assembly (SURA), Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi.
